Google Talk within Gmail web client synlab is fine, but a normal client has something in itself. synlab With Pidgin - multi-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS and Fedora) multiprotocol synlab (AIM, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, Google Talk, Groupwise, ICQ, IRC, MSN, MySpaceIM, QQ, SILC, SIMPLE, Sametime, XMPP, Yahoo !, Zephyr) customers it on my Fedora 10 but somehow did not want to go.
