[Hematology] [ Academic Forum ]

High Performance stir Liquid Chromatography Hemoglobin electrophoresis ,
it called high performance due to high pressure that utilized in this technology and its very sensitive method stir if compared to electrophoresis the very basic idea is that the blood will lyse . So, the hemoglobin will be relaesed and pass through the colum which considered to be the solid phase and the liquid is the buffers that pumps into the column . so , different types of Hg that present on blood will pass through that coloumn untill it reaches the cell for spectrophotometry for reading the concentration of each Hg but the question : how the machine will differentiate different types of hemoglobin ? according retention time which is the time required for each Hg to pass through the coloumn so, the machine programmed like this : e.g any hemoglobin will take 15 seconds to pass is HgF and like this I hope that to be useful and this is link http://www.arabslab.com/vb/showthread.php?t=10065
