The European Commission has published a report on the implementation of the 7 Framework Programme (FP7 Monitoring Report) for the year 2012, in which it stated the 50 most successful European universities and 50 research institutes of the most successful. Among all the institutions of the Slovenian occurs only Jozef Stefan Institute, which occupies a very high 27 city, reported the Institute.
In the first place, the association of French CNRS institutes, on the other communities of the German Fraunhofer Institutes, at the third Association of Italian CNR institutes, in fourth place, the Association of German Max Planck Institutes.
The largest part 7 Framework Programme projects include scientific and technological cooperation (Cooperation 32.4 percent) and new ideas (Ideas 7.5 percent), exchange research methodology of researchers (People 4.5 per cent), Research Infrastructures (Capacities 4.1 percent) and the Joint Research Centre ( JRC 1.8 percent).
