In this chapter the classical linear model regesión of k variables (Y and X2, X3, ...... Xk) in matrix algebra notation is presented. Conceptually, the model of k variables is a logical extension of the models of two or three variables considered so far in this blog. Therefore, this chapter presents a few new concepts except the matrix notation. A great advantage dblp of matrix algebra on scalar (elementary algebra that deals with scalar or real numbers) is that it provides a compact method of handling regression models involving any number dblp of variables; once the variables k model has been formulated and solved in matrix notation, dblp the solution can be applied to one, two, three, or any number of variables.
